The CITY of LUGANSK

Lugansk is an industrial center in the East of Ukraine with a population over half a million. More than 100 thousand of students from all over the world are getting education in its universities and colleges. It is located at the junction of two great cultures – Ukrainian and Russian which could be seen in its architecture, international forums and business dialogues held in the city as well as the language spoken there. Despite the city is considered to be young (215 years) its old part is saturated with the spirit of centuries and people who lived there.

Nowadays one can find activity he likes the most. Variety of modern night clubs with bubble parties, beach parties, music of the 80’s etc.; fitness centers, skating rinks, bowling and gulf clubs, tennis courts, bike shows, rock band festivals and much more amusement and entertainment you can dive in. For those who in classic music there are Lugansk philharmonic orchestra which is one of the best in Europe lead by famous Austrian conductor Kurt Schmidt as well as the unique organ handmade by German craftsmen
